All Hands - Sept 19 Outing

The All Hands Golf Club gathered on September 19 for a memorable outing, greeted by a touch of fall in the air and palpable excitement in the crowd. This day promised not only a sense of unity but also some thrilling golf action.

The outing featured various contests to test the skills of these avid golfers, and Mike Leo and Tom Kempf certainly rose to the occasion, winning the long drive contests with their impressive shots that seemed to defy gravity. Meanwhile, precision was the name of the game in the closest to the pin contests, where Chris DelGiorno and Tom Kempf showcased their pinpoint accuracy.

However, the highlight of the day came from the golfers' scores. Brian Voos, Rich Rosicki, and John Flaherty teamed up to produce a spectacular score of 70, claiming the top spot for the week. Their skill and coordination on the course were truly commendable.

In addition to the regular contests, there was a separate competition to determine who would earn a coveted spot in the club championship scheduled for October 25. Frank Poulin and Tom Martin emerged as the victors, securing their places in this prestigious event.

The excitement didn't end there, though. The upcoming October 4th outing promises to be

another wildcard showdown, where two more members will have the opportunity to enter the club championship. These four wildcard contestants will face off against the club's best golfers from the past season, making for an electrifying championship event.

The All Hands Golf Club encourages members to invite friends and fellow golf enthusiasts to join them on October 25 for the club championship. It's a day that promises both great golf and a fantastic atmosphere for spectators after their round. The pressure will be on at Middle Islands 18th hole where members will watch the battle for the top spot.

The All Hands Golf Club is gearing up to make the club championship a grand event. So, mark your calendars and spread the word about this exciting day of golf – it's sure to be a memorable occasion for all involved. Good luck to all the golfers, and may the best players win!
