Club Championship 2024

Our second annual club championship was a perfect day. The weather was great and The All Hands Golf Club had 93 golfers - 16 of which competed in the club championship 2-man scramble. The day started off in the parking lot of Middle Island Country Club where we had a few announcements, and did our traditional National Anthem. But the first point of order was to address one of our own, who could not make the outing - Tony Mastrelli. Tony, we have your back and we are praying for you every day. In typical firemen fashion, all 93 golfers bunched up for a quick video to send to Tony - None other than the famous Bronx Hymn, HHFH!

There were some great scores out there for the day, but no one came close to Jack Donnelly and Chris Delgiorno's 73 - from the tips. Rob Clappi and Pat Whelan were the closest with a 79. Pat hoped they might have it in the bag after hitting a 177 yard shot for eagle on Dogwood 9. It was a spectacular shot, off the hill up on the right then rolled down to the green and found the cup. The two golfers winning the Field game were Tyrone Clark and Jon Kelly with an impressive 75. All scores can be found on the command board photo below.

We ended the day with what we do best - socialize and eat. The club thanks Eddie and all of the staff at Middle Island Country Club for hosting our event. The food was great, and the course was spectacular - from the fairways to the greens! Thank you again and see you next year!

Our next outing is on October 15 at Bethpage Blue. This is a first come first served members only outing for the first 40 members that sign up. See you then!
