First Round 2025 - Middle Island CC

What a great day on the course for our first round out of the 2025 season! A slight bit of wind but other than that the weather was a 10. Speaking of 10's, it looks like some of our probationary golfers may have had a few those also. First place in the days scramble event was a tie. We had, yep you guesed it, the Driscol and McGroary duo with a 75 and Kelly & Spencer also with a 75. Voos & Lippert were a close second with a 76. Longest drives on the day were both taken by Driscol andd the closest to the pin contest went to Scire, Horigan and Schmanski. Some people complained about sun burn and others about wind burn - turns out it was all from the glare from James Berry as he was smiling all day. Looking forward to our next outing on May 15.
