Par 3 Challenge 2024

The first ever Par 3 Challenge was a huge hit!!!

33 of our top athletes vying for the par 3 cup and boy was it tough!! Through the cold windy day we had 4 legends of the short game step up and top the field in overall points.

We had two from the club member bracket : Frank Poulin and Charlie McGroary, and two from the Candidates bracket: Glenn Mezzapesa and James Hodges ! The “Giggling Golfer” James Hodges took two swings and walked to the green knowing Mezzapesa could not handle the pressure. James was right and won the match which earned him a club ball marker , two club stickers and an automatic invite to become a member in 2025 .

On the Senior Circuit we had 2023. club Champion Frank Poulin  go head to head with the Legend killer Charlie McGroary. Carrying the weight of club on his back Charlie struck gold with precision shots and earned himself the Par 3 Cup!! Congratulations to James and Charlie and thank you to all the guys who played for a fantastic day!!
