While our fearless leader took a break and went surfing in Italy, other members of the executive board took the helm for this weeks outing. Only a few glitches in planning but all went well and we had a great day - and the weather was a 10! Frank Licata established the Command Post, Dan Maurer handled the finances, the National Anthem was played and away we went.
This weeks awards went out to Clappi and Horigan for the lowest 2-man scramble score of 73. Runner-ups were Licata and Maurer with a score of 80. Nice job! Longest drives went to Voos and Cuccio. Closest to pin went to Schmanski (23’9”) and Driscoll (3’5”). 50/50 went to Charlie McCarren, congrats!
Finally, as per Command Post photo attached, Frank Licata established rule number 18.3.2a - any golfer that was IN on the outing and then bailed, is on ML for 2 weeks and is not allowed to play any golf for 2 weeks. If any of the following golfers are found golfing before full duty date (6-25) they should be reported to the executive board and they will be the subject of discussion at next outing (Hazing Poicy does not apply). On ML - Spencer, Zechinni, B Jones, and Martin. Frank Poulin is on Adm Leave due to Jury Duty.
Next outing will be at Holbrook CC on June 25 at 9:30am. (Note to Slevin- June 25 not June 26). Sign up form to follow…
